It’s summer time and that means the need for sunblock, insect repellent, lip balm/chapstick, etc. People buy lip balm all year round. During the winter it is needed for chipped lips due to the cold and wind, etc. and during the summer it is needed to help protect lips from the bright, burning sun. Because of the sun there is a specific kind of lip balm that should be used to rescue your lips from harmful UV rays. Lip balm with SPF 15, for example, is needed to protect lips from the sun’s rays.

Un-Petroleum also offers a lip balm with SPF, which is 18, a bit higher than 15. Un-Petroleum’s lip balm comes in two different flavors, cherry and vanilla. If you are looking for a lip balm that only moisturizes your lips then Alba Natural puts out a lip balm called Pineapple Quench Lip Balm.

While these lip balms aren’t the cheapest they are affordable. They are a little bit more price wise compared to the average tube of lip balm.
